Who do we address save the date cards to?

Save the date cards should be addressed to all of the people that you are planning on inviting to your wedding and naming in the invitations. What happens if I send out save the date cards, then change the date or location?

While this scenario is rather unlikely, things like this can always happen. If an unexpected change of plans comes up, the best solution is to not send out new save the date cards, as this might confuse your guests. Instead, update your wedding website, start making phone calls, and start spreading the word. Contacting guests individually and in person will make the whole situation less sticky.
